VTC80 bir CNC dikey torna tezgahıdır (Dikey CNC Torna), temel işlevi, döner iş parçalarında (diskler, göbekler, flanşlar vb.) harici yuvarlak, uç yüz, delik, diş, oluk ve diğer işlemleri gerçekleştirmek için aleti CNC sistemi aracılığıyla kontrol etmektir. Makinenin temel işlevi, döner iş parçalarında (disk, göbek, flanş vb.) dış daire, uç yüz, delik, diş, oluk ve diğer işlemlerin son işlemesini gerçekleştirmek için aleti CNC sistemi tarafından kontrol etmektir. "Dikey" yapısı yatay torna tezgahından farklıdır, iş parçası döner tablaya sıkıştırılır ve takım, büyük çaplı ve kısa uzunluktaki parçaların işlenmesi için uygun olan dikey (Z ekseni) ve yatay (X ekseni) yönlerde hareket eder ve sıkma stabilitesi daha iyidir.
