Description

500 ton molded plastic big pot press is a kind of high-pressure molding equipment driven by hydraulic system, its core function is to make the plastic raw materials (such as thermosetting plastics, engineering plastics) after heating and softening, through high-pressure pressing to make it fill the mold cavity, and finally cooling and curing to form the required shape of plastic products.

Its working principle is as follows:
Hydraulic drive: the hydraulic system (including oil pump, hydraulic cylinder, oil tank) provides stable high-pressure power to ensure uniform pressure distribution during the pressing process.
Mold closure: the movable beam moves downward under hydraulic pressure and closes with the fixed base to form a closed cavity.
High-pressure molding: Plastic raw material is compressed into the mold gap by a nominal pressure of 500 tons, eliminating air bubbles and ensuring that the material is fully filled.
Cooling and curing: Pressure is maintained until the product is cooled and cured, after which the mold is opened and the finished product is removed.

Typical Application Scenarios
Plastic Molding
Large plastic tubs: e.g. household laundry tubs, industrial storage tubs, thick-walled, high-strength structures are realized through high-pressure pressing.
Composite material manhole covers: glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) or BMC material manhole covers, which require 500 tons of pressure to ensure material compactness.
Sanitary ware: such as toilet tanks and wash basins, the molding process can achieve complex curved surfaces and smooth surfaces.
Industrial Material Processing
Resin manhole cover/drainage ditch: High-pressure pressing improves the abrasion and impact resistance of the material.
U-channels/leakage plates: plastic components for agriculture or construction, the molding process allows for the mass production of standardized products.
Special material molding
Carbon fiber/quartz stone composite material: high pressure is needed to ensure that the fiber and matrix material are fully infiltrated to enhance the mechanical properties of the product.
