Application: Molding SMC FRP modular water tank panels (FRP/GRP molded water tank panels) by curing and pressing SMC sheets under high temperature and high pressure to produce concave-convex water tank mold panels, which are later bolted together to form a large water tank.
Mainstream Configuration: Three-beam, four-column hydraulic press, which must be equipped with mold heating plates, an ejection and demolding mechanism, and a PLC servo control system.

Workflow
Place SMC sheets into the heated mold
Slider rapid descent → Slow closing and pressurization
Mold heating (140–165°C) + high-pressure holding for curing (critical; holding pressure for tens of seconds to several minutes)
Staged venting to prevent delamination caused by air bubbles in the sheet material
Slider retracts; the bottom ejector cylinder ejects the water tank panel from the mold
Complete cycle: rapid descent → slow pressing → venting → constant-temperature holding → retraction → ejection and demolding in an automatic loop; pressure, temperature, and holding time are adjustable.
